What James wants this wiki to become
Intent (James, 22 Oct 2026). A shared knowledge base: a second brain for the AI that he can also explore, explain things to himself in, and write in; with ownership annotations distinguishing what he wrote from what an agent wrote; serving as a common ground and clearinghouse across systems and models (Claude, coding agents, this Hermes instance).
Design points discussed, not decided:
- three provenance classes: human-authored, agent working notes, jointly adopted;
- a W3C PROV-style provenance model;
- prose as canonical, with any graph structure derived and disposable;
- append-only logs;
- cross-model agreement as a check on single-model framing bias.
Against the current rules. SCHEMA.md and note-keeping say the wiki "holds what the agent found, not his positions" and must not become a position store. This intent goes further: he would also write in it, and it would carry his positions with ownership marked. The wiki already does part of this (his statements marked stated, the author's reading labelled, corrections kept visible), but the two are not yet reconciled. Left for James; not changed here. The note-keeping page's point on strict linear order with links as a secondary layer bears on how it should be ordered.
